Cobb County American Cancer Society Swordsman's Ball | Atlanta Photography

I love it when we get the opportunity to use our talents to help deserving organizations. Especially considering my family's unfortunate connections with cancer, I was honored to document the the 40th Annual Cobb County Swordsman's Ball, which happens to also fall on the same year as the 100th Anniversary of the American Cancer Society.

The decorations were so fun. Since the American Cancer Society's motto is centered around more birthdays, the theme was a giant birthday party!

There was a silent auction where so many generous donors donated wonderful items from wine to sports memorabilia to jewelry and quilts.

Local bakeries competed in a cake competition. All of the cakes were incredible, but the cake from Gabriel's Desserts was judged the best cake and won the competition.

It was a wonderful night to remember those who have lost their battle with cancer and celebrate with survivors. Terry Lee and the G.T.'s kept it lively as the party continued into the night.
