For us, 2013 was a year of change. We sold our house, moved from Indiana to Atlanta, and welcomed our sweet baby girl. While personally it was a year of change for us, one thing hasn't changed. We had awesome clients in 2013 and we are excited for our equally amazing clients who are getting married in 2014 and beyond.
As we transition into the new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on 2013. What better way to do that than by taking a look at some of our favorite wedding images from this past year.
I think my favorite Erika Brown Photography wedding image of 2013 might have to be this one of a bride in her gorgeous wedding gown that I snapped as we were waiting for the elevator at the lovely Georgian Terrace Hotel.
The time spent with the couples preparing on their big day is always special. I especially love this image that captured the gratefulness of the bride as her mother surprised her with a bouquet that she loved but didn't have in her wedding budget.
One of our favorite moments in the wedding day is if a bride and groom decides to do a first look and share a special quiet moment before the festivities begin. No matter if the brides jumps into her grooms exuberant arms or they choose to not actually see each other and share a moment praying around a corner, it is a precious time that our couples cherish.
We love the variety of the venues where our couples choose to say their vows. Two of our favorite places from this year was this beautiful cathedral with the amazing blue ceiling and this serene field where the Georgia mountains provide the backdrop for the ceremony.
Every wedding dress is beautiful, and I love the dramatic dress shots so much, I had to show you a couple more.
The time that we spend with the bride and groom capturing their love through images is always special. I love how this bride interpreted my direction to give them a unique image that they will always cherish.
Of course, the day is all about enjoying the moment and having fun. I think this one wins the prize for the goofiest image from this past year. I love shots like this that show the relationships that are so special to the couple.
The details of the day show the style of the bride and groom more than anything else. I love the variety and personal touches.
While the details add to the style of the wedding, it is the relationships and love that are what is important. This image of one of our brides with her Godfather during their dance says it all.
We are so thankful to all of our couples from this past year and look forward to working with all of our upcoming couples whether it is in a Georgia mansion, Indiana field, or a destination wedding anywhere in the world. Just Contact Us to see if your date is still available for 2014.
